Before joining Siemens in 2004, Alex worked for an StartUp in telecommunications. The .com crisis brought him to Siemens as a Project Manager in Financial Services IT. While working the way he was used to, he went through many organizational changes and an area of centralization. 2010 he felt overwhelmed by the way of working and finally some additional private crisis made him running in a burn-out. After some changes of positions he got the opportunity to found an internal diversity network for “sexual orientation and identity”… PRIDE@Siemens. Bringing people together all over the organization to work for a shared purpose made him think about traditional working and collaboration models. Since some years his focus is #futureofwork / #newwork. He started several initiatives to help people understanding what a culture of creativity, innovation and adaptability means and how it feels to get things done easily.
