The 5th Corporate Startup Award puts Intrapreneurs from around Europe and their initiatives in the spotlight. The best of them will be awarded at the stage of the Corporate Startup Summit 2019.

The application will be open on 1. August – 1. November, 2019.

This category awards the best programs or projects that create framework for supporting entrepreneurship within established corporations (Intrapreneurship). We are looking for innovative concepts that offer employees new organisational and HR structures and enable them to take ownership in pursuing their own projects.

Winner 2018: Kickbox by Swisscom

The Best Corporate Incubator / Accelerator

This category awards the best corporate programs for structured collaboration with startups and onboarding of external innovations. We are looking for programs that are run by the corporation itself, through crossindustrial corporate partnerships as well as partnerships with 3rd party service providers.

Winner 2018: GenerationS Corporate Accelerator

The Best Corporate Startup

 This category awards the best entrepreneurial projects run as an “internal startup” by the employees and in many cases in a team with external experts as a close partnership. We are looking for projects that were spinned off from the corporation as well as those that are embedded within existing corporate structures, developed in a “startup-like” way and enjoy lot of freedom and flexibility.

The main aim of this event is to provide CEOs with a private setting in which they can discuss digital transformation and the requirements associated with this with experienced chief digital officers.

Why Innovation and Startup Ecosystem Workshop?
Developing and maintaining a working innovation ecosystem is an essential task of any company aiming for sustainable growth in an uncertain future. An innovation ecosystem is build up by mutually dependent elements that enable intrapreneurs, entrepreneurs and innovators to generate, test and implement new ideas.

Building and maintaining a innovation or startup ecosystem is very complex. This workshop will give you a head start for new inititives and a n orientation for existing ones.

Challenges for successful innovation ecosystem
1. Option Overload – Decision makers require measurable results but are very often overwhelmed by the amount of proposed possible innovation initiatives.
2. Innovation Alignment – Lack of alignment and common understanding among the stakeholders that negatively influences the communication and efficient allocation of  resources
3. Innovation Silos – Missing transparency and information about best practices within and outside the organisation

Key learnings
1. Understanding and communication the current status of your innovation and startup ecosystem.
2. Identification and priority setting of challenges in your innovation and startup ecosystem as well as allocation of resources.
3. Definition of metrics to be implemented based on best practices.
