This category awards the best programs or projects that create framework for supporting entrepreneurship within established corporations (Intrapreneurship). We are looking for innovative concepts that offer employees new organisational and HR structures and enable them to take ownership in pursuing their own projects.

„Startup Engagement Framework – Structured Approach to Startup Collaboration“

What is „Startup Engagement Framework“?
Startup Engagement Framework has been developed by Lukas Strniste based on the hands-on experience from multiple innovation projects with multinational corporations as well as medium sized businesses. The Framework offers you a structured and measurable approach to Startup Engagement Strategy that will help you to convince business units as well as get a buy in from the management side. The Framework is suitable for any company indenpently from the maturity of its innovation management strategy. The Framework will help you to combine multiple Startup Engagement Initiatives and to define the business impact. 

Why „Startup Engagement Framework“ Workshop?
In this workshop with other like-minded peers you will learn how to implement the Framework within your organisation as well as how to use it to foster open innovation and cross-corporate collaboration – ideally directly with the peers from your workshop group. What is “Ecosystemizer”?

It’s a management tool developed by Prof. Dr. Julian Kawohl (HTW Berlin) and Denis Krechting (RWTH Aachen), that supports clarity and focus with a set of frameworks to generate innovations and growth opportunities in business ecosystems. In an action-based research approach with over 500 practitioners, the new laws of the marketplace in the future Ecosystem Economy were discovered and a management handbook will follow.

Every company is looking for compelling strategies in the challenging digital ecosystem economy. The workshop run by the creator of the “Ecosystemizer” reveals how you can find (or review) the positioning of your company as well as how you can be more innovative and grow in business ecosystems.
