Henning Trill has a passion for new ways to make life better and is vice president of Corporate Innovation at Bayer since 2016. In this role he is responsible for Bayer’s Innovation Agenda which is a top-down and bottom up approach to support a broad innovation. His team supports an innovation Network with more than 800 Coaches across the company, a crowd ideation platform and an Intrapreneurship program to drive innovation in the business leveraging a Lean-Startup approach.

Previously, Henning lead the global R&D Team of Bayer’s Inhouse Management Consulting Unit. In this role he and his team supported key transformational and innovation projects within Bayer’s R&D units in Crop Science and HealthCare such as development and implementation of R&D strategies, creation of open innovation programs and development and implementation of governance models.

Prior to joining Bayer in 2010, Henning worked for the Boston Consulting Group in the HealthCare and Industrial Goods practice across a broad spectrum of project along the value chain with special attention to innovation related topics in new business model development and corporate venture capital.

Henning was born 1973 in Germany and studied Physics and Chemistry at the Westfälische Wilhelms Universität in Münster and at the University of Santa Barbara, California (UCSB).
